Old 2pm or New 2pm
I am a HUGE fan of 2pm...
Yes, I am part of the Hottest...a proud one :)
But I am new to the whole 2pm world and the debates.
There is one matter that I would like to address... The leave of Park JaeBeom.
Many Hottests are very upset over this matter, saying things like "The old 2pm with Jay is a lot better" or "Why did 2pm kick Jay out".
Firstly, 2pm did NOT kick Jay out... It was Jay who left the group.
Secondly, it was never ENTIRELY Jay's fault for leaving the group. It was purely his choice and no one forced him. Also, he didn't have much of a choice... If he stayed, he would hurt 2pm as a whole. In this case, I look up to him as he is very thoughtful and thought of 2pm.
As a true fan of 2pm, we should embrace this change and support both 2pm and Jay Park. Now, they are all very successful in their careers!
Although I am not a Jay Park fan, I fully support his solo career. I am more into the boy groups then solo artists... :)
However, the purpose behind writing this post is not just to support Jay, but maybe list some of the advantages of jay leaving 2pm.
If Jay never left:
1. We wouldn't have known the existence of Taecyeon's abs!!!
If Jay was still around, wouldn't they give the jjit concept to Jay, and not Taec?
Would we have known that Taec did not only have the perfect height, perfect face but also a desirable body which make fans (including me) swoon??? :)
Sure Jay's abs are delicious too, but Taec is my bias... :)
Either way, whether jay is here or not, we are very thankful that both of them have beautiful bodies :)
2. Other than Junsu, other members would not have a chance to sing chorus parts
In the song, Heartbeat, Junsu and WooYoung sang the chorus.
In Without You, Junsu and Junho sang the chorus.
Would Junho have gotten that part if Jay was still in 2pm?
3. There would not be as many Taecyeon raps
Taecyeon is a rapper in 2pm... But even though I LOVE him, I have to admit that Jay is a way better rapper than Taec because he has the slang, whereas Taec has a sexy rap because of his deep, manly voice.
So If Jay was still in 2pm, Taecyeon would still have rap parts (because he is not the best singer in 2pm), but his raps would not be as outstanding because Jay may be rapping beside him... :) Just sayin'
4. Jay would always be in the spotlight and the others would seem like background dancers...
If you look at the dance performance to your left, it is evident that Jay is the main dancer. In such performances, it is not very surprising. Afterall, Jay is a really great B-boy, but the spotlight should be shone on other members too... Junho and Wooyoungie are great dancers!!! Jay is great too, but I think that he is overshadowing the others... What do you think?
5. Junho's tumbling would've never been discovered.
Junho is now very well known for his death defying flips and stunts... Watch the clip and you have to agree...
**WARNING: AUDIO IS EXTREMELY LOUD...YOU KNOW...THE SCREAMING?!**
If Jay was still around, instead of Junho stunts, it would be Jay's B-boying... No offence
All in all, I am just saying that Jay's leave is not exactly an extremely bad thing... Switch another point of view, there are advantages! There are more good points but I am getting lazy to sum them up... I will miss Jay in 2pm, but I would never hate him or 2pm for his leave. He is better now, and I kinda think that he was made to go solo... Look at how he shines!
I really mean no offence to all those who love Jay in 2pm. I am just voicing out my point of view.
But if you are a true Hottest, you would support them both. I feel that 2pm is truely stronger now... And I love this 2pm! No matter what, I will support the name 2pm. FOREVER AND EVER! I LOVE 2pm!!!!
*just another point to add, if Jay were still here, Taec would never have had the acting opportunity for Cinderella's Sister. Sorry, but I must still stand up for my Taekie <3
